[ The video feed turns on, showing a young guy, around 17 years old, his head and naked torso dripping wet. He seemed to be panting, as if he just ran a marathon, holding the journal up to his face. ]

Hah...hah...Has anyone...ha...seen a glove? ...Black...hah... with a sun on the back. Fits on the right hand. [ He takes a breath. ] Please! It's important to me! Anyone there? [ The video feed turns off, just as the boy was going to say more. ]

[ Shingo can later be found in the plaza, still soaked, still half naked, glove on his left hand, nothing on the other. He keeps calling out to people passing by, asking if they've seen a glove identical to the one he's wearing. His expression looks crestfallen, he has no idea what he's gonna do if he doesn't find it. ]

... You know, did you even bother to check the clothing store? That's inside too, so you have less chance of getting some kind of lethal disease like this too.

Ahahaha. I guess that would make more sense. I just...panicked. I know I already said this, but this glove is really important to me.

Why exactly is it so important? You said it was a gift, but was it for some special occasion?

I got it as a present from Kyo-senpai, for the progress I made in my first tournament. He was really really proud of me, and these gloves are specially made for the Kusanagi clan, but he still gave them to me.

Oh! Kyo is the Kusanagi clan leader right now, and he's the current strongest fighter in the world! He's really, really awesome! He uses fire to fight, and he kicks everyone's butts, and he hasn't lost a fight yet! We go to the same high school, he's a year older than me though. Oh! And he even agreed to teach me how to fight, he's really, really smart and strong and he even showed me special Kusanagi style martial arts techniques, that only strong clan members know, and even though I can't make flames he still taught them to me, and so far I've been using them really well he said, even though they aren't complete, and-

[ ANGE IS DEFINITELY NOT LETTING IT. If this were a game, she would be using the 'skip text' function by now, what is this fanboying.. ]

Yeah, yeah, I get it. You sure have a lot of feelings about this Kyo person, so that glove is important to you. But if you're going to keep talking like that forever you'll never find it, you know.

O-oh! [ He caught himself. ] S-sorry. You're right, I need to concentrate on finding this.

[ He follows, finally happy that he might be able to find his missing glove. ]
